Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she took flute lessons and harpsichord for three years. The money she earned came from a student allowance and took off on a part-time job to supplement her budget. Lennox made the decision to alter her profession when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience and lack of talent comparison with others Royal Academy students. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. But she quit before the band went on I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. She was The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. That was also where she met Dave Stewart with whom she would form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her debut solo album Diva and it was released in 1992. This album became a huge hit as well as the sales as well as the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album as a solo artist was released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. It is a collection comprising four tracks that were composed by Lennox. This E.P. is the companion album of her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now, I'll let You go... It is also her debut independently-released album.
