Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a student at an institution called the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord and flute for 3 whole years. She was able to survive on a student income and part-time job to supplement her budget. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability when compared with her peers and thought about what other path she might follow. Lennox started her professional career in 1976 when she was a member in the band Dragons Playground. She left the band before the band went to I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. From 1977 to the year 1980, she was the lead singer for The Tourists, a British pop group. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Following that Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva to be released in the year 1992. The album was hugely successful both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album was released in the month of October 2014. was Nostalgia Lennox. This C.D. The C.D. contains Lennox's most loved blues, jazz, soul and blues songs from her early years. Lepidoptera is a collection of 4 piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is an accompaniment to an art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You Go... Her first independent album. Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954 in Scotland, is a charitable philanthropist and political activist. She also sings. Following a modest success as a member of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s, she along with fellow singer Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s. The album that Lennox released in 1992 Diva produced many hit songs like Why, and Walking through the Broken Glass. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. The album features covers of some songs, including The No MoreI Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. She's got six studio albums, as well as one compilation album to her credit.
