Born on December 2 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model who is well-known for her roles in TV shows and films. Brandt began her acting career in her role in the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. After that she was offered her first American role in Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia. The actress's TV credits comprise Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians, and several others. Brandt plays Mazikeen the character of Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was brought up in Cape Town South Africa. After her late teens, she emigrated with her family into Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's career started as a fashion model when she appeared in television commercials and magazine advertisements. She was employed as an IT recruitment consultant and in retail before becoming a well-known fashion model. The role she played was Leilani an NZer in the sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. Her first big appearance was in 2021 when she played the character of slave girl Naevia for the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character of Naevia was reprised in the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker starred alongside her on three shows that aired on television: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she began playing the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen in Lucifer, the Netflix popular show Lucifer. Her leading role until the present.
