Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student at Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She studied the harpsichord and flautist piano over three years. She was able to survive with the stipend she received from her students as she worked part-time. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other paths she could take. Lennox played flute with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. The group broke up shortly before their appearance on I.T.V's Talent program New Faces. She was the main singer for The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and the year 1980. That was also where she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she formed Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox was working on her own debut record Diva. It came out in 1993. It was a massive critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo that was released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. This C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. is an accompanying piece of her artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now, I'll let You Go... It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25th 1954. The Tourists gained some minor acknowledgement for their and Dave Stewart's work in the 1970s. The group went on through the 1980s to be the cult duo Eurythmics. The album that Lennox released in 1992 Diva featured a number of hit songs, including Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa an album from her studio, released in 1995, has the versions of a few of her biggest hits, such as the No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). The singer has recorded six solo studio albums and one compilation album to her credit.
