Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a flute, piano as well as harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for a period of three years during the 70s. The budget of her was augmented with a stipend for students which she earned while working part-time to pay for her expenses. Lennox was a student in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied in her performance when compared with her peers. She started to think about different options. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground. The group broke up prior to their appearance in I.T.V's Talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she was lead singer for The Tourists, a British pop group. She was introduced to Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her debut solo album Diva that was out in 1992. It was a huge success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favorite blues, jazz and soul songs from her youth. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvisations for piano, was released by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is a companion piece to an art installation she designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You go... It is her first album that was released on her own. Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954, in Scotland, is a philanthropist as well as a an activist in the political arena. She sings as well. The latter part of the 70s was when she gained a little fame when the lead singer of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition as Eurythmics. Lennox started her solo career in 1992, with the release of her debut album Diva that featured a number of popular songs like the hit songs Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa the album from 1995 studio, features covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale.
